Blondie Bakes closes its doors on the 14th of January, 2023, after nearly 9 years of baking. A message from the owner... If any of you have had even a 5-minute conversation with me, you’ll know that I LOVE the idea of changing things up! It’s what inspires me to grow - daring to take the leap and figuring it out along the way. If these past two years have taught us anything, it’s that it’s okay—dare I say even healthy—to change direction toward the next meaningful experience. With that, I have chosen not to renew Blondie Bakes’ lease in Kauppakeskus Citycenter. We will be closing our doors at the end of the day on the 14th of January, after nearly 9 years of having the privilege of being in service to our customers and our employees. We have lived such an exciting chapter and we’re grateful that there is no drama surrounding this decision—thanks to all of you, I have not lost a single wink of sleep worrying about Blondie Bakes—but not all of life’s decisions are business decisions, and Mr. Blondie and I simply can’t wait to experience what else life has in store for us! I can’t even begin to put into words how much we value the past few years. We’ve made wonderful friends, met people from all walks of life, and grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined - all thanks to YOU! So, please know, we did not take this decision lightly… We are beyond grateful for all of the moments you’ve allowed us to share with you! 💜
